Jagannath Ratha Yatra festival celebrated in Sangli District in association of HH Lokanath Swami Maharaj on 16 May 2015

Jagannath Swami Nayan pathgami Nayan pathgami Bhavatu me!!!

When a patient is very much serious and cannot go to hospital then a Doctor comes to treat that patient. Similarly to treat the diseased people Lord of the universe Sri Jagannath along with His brother Sri Balaram and sister Subhadra devi comes to distribute His mercy and devotion to us !

All arrangement for Rath Yatra was done by devotees in Sangli. Big Flags of Lord’s face were created to attract people. Big banners and Poster of Hare Krishna Mahamantra were printed and decorated so that each person can read it loudly. HH Lokanath Swami inaugurated the Ratha Yatra by blowing Shankh and offering flowers and aarti to Lord Jagannath. Then Maharaj inaugurated Kirtan and thus the Lord given His merciful glance to one and all!! After Rath Yatra there was Katha and delicious Prasadam for all. Almost 10,000 devotees participated in Rath Yatra and enjoyed the divine Chariot festival of Lord Jagannath ji !!

ISKCON Aravade organized Bhagavad katha. Speaker for Katha is HG Lalgovind prabhuji. Katha started from 11 may 2015. Venue for katha was Sangli. About 4000 devotees attended katha on day-1. There was all accommodation facility for outsider devotees to stay in Sangli. There was Prasad available for all devotees daily.

Also Book distribution was done on large scale by ISKCON Aravade devotees. Almost 8000 devotees attended Katha on day 7 and benefited by the necterian katha. Katha was organized under the guidance of our temple president HG Abhiram Thakur prabhuji. Also HG Dharmaraj prabhu, president of ISKCON Noida attended the katha.
